Prism of Possibilities

Whew!! Ok let me take one big deep breath before I even get started with this post.

As some of you know, I am an Independent Distributor with SeneGence and I am super PROUD about it, but don’t worry I’m not an annoying about it.

So your turn to go ahead a take a deep breath, this is not about how you should “join my team” (even though you should because it WILL change your life) but more about growing, socializing and going out of your comfort zone kind of blog post.

Wednesday evening I was heading to airport to take my first trip by myself in almost four years. It has never been a big deal to just get up and go and travel for me until last Wednesday… I’ve gotten so use to traveling with my fiance’ and he always makes sure he has all the things for us. Ya know, he is the responsible one after all.

Well, as I got closer to the airport, I legit started to have a panic attack. It was the craziest thing!! Who was this gal so nervous to travel to Seminar by herself?!?! It was definitely one of those “put on the big girl pants” moments and JUST DO IT! So that’s what I did.

It went smooth sailing, I didn’t lose anything, I had my ID and I was on my way. First stop was Texas to meet up with one of the ladies on my team and drive to Seminar the next day, which was located in Tulsa.

My nerves were insane. I was about to be surrounded by 7,000 women!!! Spending all day taking classes and socializing with complete strangers made me a bit anxious at first. I’m pretty sensitive towards people’s energy so as you can imagine I was feeling all the feelings.

Ok now fast forward to today, just four days later, I’ll skip all the details of the event get straight to the point of this post.

It was AMAZING!!!! The first day I was super shy but after a few small interactions I decided to just let go and talk to all the ladies I came across. It was so worth it. I met women who I instantly had

a connection with, formed friendships and had some of the best life conversations.

Now, I’m sitting here in the airport, I was completely calm on the way here, no anxiety, no panic attacks, just peace and joy. Why you wonder?

Well, that is because I got my confidence back! I didn’t even realize I wasn’t feeling that confident! The past few days was such a wonderful reminder to get out there. Surround yourself with other like minded people, to go to events and seminars, whatever topic you choose and GROW as individual so you can continue to be strong enough to take on life and care for others around you.

If you aren’t growing you are dying. My tank has been refilled and reminded that just because I have a partner in life doesn’t mean I should lose myself as an individual. And neither should you.

Whatever you martial status is doesn’t mean you should be living a mediocre or mundane life. Life is meant for living and the best way to live is to keep growing. Go out of your comfort zone, challenge yourself, don’t have self-doubt. Even though it can be a little scary it is worth it, YOU are worth it!

Taking time for yourself is THEE most important relationship you have. If you aren’t loving and taking care of yourself, how are you able to take care of others around you?

So dear reader, challenge yourself. Find a group or training to help you grow internally or a hobby you enjoy. What is your interest?

What ever your interest is then go seek other like-minded individuals to interact and grow from. If there is a particular topic that you are curious about, find a class to attend to learn, go out that darn comfort zone and meet other people.

Are you seeing a common theme? INTERACT with others. Humans are such social creatures so depriving yourself of socializing and growing will damage you and your life with time… if it hasn’t already.

I am so thankful for the past few days. It has reminded me to keep growing and go out of my comfort zone. It was exactly what I needed and I didn’t even realize it.

Now the question is, what are you going to do today to go out of your comfort zone?

And what are you going to do to challenge yourself to grow more as an individual?
